How to Edit Zoom Recordings on Mac WITHOUT Creating Massive File Sizes!
Running into file size, poor performance, long render times and quality issues when making simple edits to Zoom video recordings? Virtual events are all the rage during COVID-19. Here's a quick and easy solution on how I handle these projects.
NOTES: You must be using macOS and have QuickTime Player version 10+
4:00 you CAN simply change the file extension from .mov to .mp4!
4:55 you can also keep using Split Clip instead of Trim, and delete or re-arrange the clips you'd like.
6:05: if your added clip is a higher resolution than the rest of the original video, it will scale the entire video to the higher resolution and increase the file size! Try to match your added clip's resolution to the source video and make sure the added clip's file size isn't too large as well.
