In Lithuania, a civil servant owned a logistics company through which Western brands entered Russia, bypassing sanctions. After the investigation, Antonina Miliauskene was fired from her job at the Ministry of Social Protection. But the problem is broader: alcohol through Latvia, luxury cars through Estonia, household appliances through Central Asia. Officially, the sanctions work. But in fact, they don’t.
