Tatev Monastery, Armenia
The Tatev Monastery is a 9th-century Armenian Apostolic monastery located on a large basalt plateau near the Tatev village in Syunik Province in southeastern Armenia. The term "Tatev" usually refers to the monastery. The monastic ensemble stands on the edge of a deep gorge of the Vorotan River.
Tatev Monastery is in the centre of the Marz of Syunik, near the village of Tatev, on a cliff overlooking the right bank of the Vorotan River. Such a remote position was strategically favorable as the monastery was simultaneously the religious and political centre of Syunik Principality, and needed to be defended.

This is my last day in armenia and it was a good experienced while visiting this place. First, there culture amaze me more.. Second, the food was spectacular and tasty. Third, the locals are very friendly. Forth, the nature ohh well.. cant explain.. if u see there mountains, trees and flowers, totally beautiful paradise. In gods time, i will surely comeback here and stay more days. I really love armenia.. much loved!!
