Here are the main takeaways for how to manage your Google Business Profile moving into 2023.
There have been dozens of recent updates and changes with GMB and their algorithm. You can NO longer use their mobile App and you can NO longer use the GMB Dashboard from business.google.com. Moving forward you have to make all your changes, updates, and optimizations directly from Google Search.
Here are the main updates:
NO more GMB App
NO longer manage GMB on the dashboard
MUST use Search directly to make changes
ALL settings, updates, features, information and more is done on search
MUST add photos, posts, updates and more from SEARCH
Add managers in search settings then profile settings
The NEW Dashboard is on Search
You can still update on SEARCH or MAPS
You can still receive messages and quote requests
You can use custom review link and respond to reviews
A LOT of reviews are not showing up on Google, its a glitch
A LOT of Google Businesses are getting SUSPENDED
