This video shows you how to change the database that stores the HTTP cache index.
The default database used by WinGate is the MS Jet Engine (MS Access database). This is the default because it exists on every installation of Windows after Windows 2000. It doesn't however have the performance required to run WinGate on a medium - large network. For all but small networks, we recommend changing the database used to a system that provides better multi-access performance, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MS SQL Server.
