The events will unfold some time after the start of a full-scale Russian invasion in the capital's Scientific Research Center for Obstetrics and Reproductive Medicine, where pregnant women with pathologies and complications from all over Ukraine are sent. The main character, a talented obstetrician-gynecologist Mykhailo Gonchar, who was forced to move to Kyiv from Severodonetsk, comes to work here. The hospital where he headed the maternity ward was destroyed by Russian shelling, as was Mykhailo's house. After being wounded, he starts a new life in the capital with his daughter, who is being raised by a single person. While getting a new job, he unwittingly crosses paths with the ambitious deputy head and finds himself embroiled in intrigue.
