What is a Trophy Truck?
Hello everyone! Today I'll tell you about my latest project, a mini Trophy Truck made from LEGO Technic. It's my main project of the year. It's probably my fastest and most advanced DIY to date. Compact and incredibly fast. Although it's a bit of a Dakar-inspired departure from the original concept, the basic features of a Trophy Truck are still present, and it handles like one. The Trophy Truck reaches a top speed of 12 kilometers per hour, while perfectly handling all the bumps. In this video, you'll learn in detail the history of this model's creation, as well as its technical and design features. Without going into detail, the model features rear-wheel drive from a buggy engine via a reinforced CV joint drive with a 1.6:1 axle reduction gear, rack-and-pinion steering with a custom servo motor, powered by a Buwizz 2.0, front multi-link independent suspension, and a rear four-link dependent suspension on an axle with an anti-roll bar.
