Tool Tip: Using a router with a straight edge
When running your router with a straight edge, use the round portion of your base against the straight edge. The distance from the center of the bit to the round edge will not change along the arc of the circle. No matter how much your router is turned while the cut is being made, your cut will remain straight. If you use the flat edge of your router base make sure to keep the base perfectly against the straight edge or the slightest movement may wreck your work piece.
