Game of Thrones' decision to swap out Sansa Stark and Jeyne Poole's book storylines was one of the most surprising and appalling decisions throughout the course of the show. Every character involved in the storyline was diminished as a result of this change, but clearly no character could have been more damaged by it than Sansa Stark herself. But putting Sansa's individual characterization aside, what about this change clearly indicated the huge problems that were about to crop up at the end of Game of Thrones?
