Lowrance | StructureScan™ 3D Basics
StructureScan 3D gives freshwater and saltwater anglers a unique, three-dimensional view of fish, structure and bottom contours — making it easier to understand where fish and structure are located in relation to your boat. With StructureScan™ 3D, anglers spend less time searching for productive water and more time catching fish.
Earlier this year, StructureScan™ 3D was upgraded with Active Imaging™ enhancements in the 18.3 software update, which provides higher-resolution, cleaner 3D views plus a new Custom Depth Shading feature.
Adding StructureScan™ 3D to an HDS LIVE system gives anglers the capability to simultaneously view 3D images alongside SideScan and DownScan Imaging for the first time – via new, configurable split-panel display panel options. StructureScan™ 3D requires a 3D module with transducer and a HDS LIVE, HDS Carbon or HDS Gen3 fishfinder/chartplotter display.
