For this week's #coltranetuesdays show, we #MarchForth with an open mic staple that, remarkably, I've never tried to learn before. It's also remarkable that a) our friend Tom Cooney actually requested this song (between episodes) years ago, and that b) the band that recorded it is named for unidentified, fireball-like objects that Allied pilots spotted flying near them in the European and Pacific theaters of WWII. And then -- after all that -- we'll see what other enigmatic references you'll lay on me when we play #nfcstumptheband.
