Gamemaker Tutorials - Tile Collisions
Hello Everybody! This is a video that I quickly threw together for you guys so I dont miss my thursday upload. I am going on a roadtrip and will be on vacation for the next week. But! in this video I show you guys how to add tile based collisions to your games. so instead of just doing object based collisions like I have always done in my videos, I will be showing you how to collide with your tile sets! Tile collisions are a great tool because instead of colliding with your objects everytime and trying to line up your objects with tiles, you can just collide with the tiles themselves. I do go over my project before starting the actual tutorial so if you don't care to see that (I also don't blame you if you don't want to see that) please take full advantage of the provided timestamps.
