The perils of using and relying on Microsoft 365 (previously Office 365).
People have commented in the past that I am hard on the Dev Team, and/or Microsoft. Well this video clearly illustrates exactly why! People depends on the software, yet it is unreliable and Microsoft provides no real support anymore. It is very difficult to get a real person to help.
One day things work fine, then an update hits you and suddenly you can't do anything, all systems down, full stop! Leaving you to somehow figure things out on your own. The problems that such downtime incurs is insane, from the pure frustration of the situation, the cost associated, lost work, ...
Adding to the problem are the useless error codes provided with no description of the actual root cause of the problem and no links to help pages to provide information. Microsoft basically abandons you to your own devices to try and figure things out all by yourself. There is no product support to be had! You can't actually get ahold of anyone person to actually assist you in resolving the issue. You have to either figure things out on your own, or turn towards forums and hope someone there, a fellow user, is in a position to assist you.
What's worse is this has become a new 'normal' with Microsoft product, bugs, problems, reduced support, ... and people have accepted this. Companies like Microsoft make record profits and offer less support then they ever have!
Just another typical day of using Microsoft software!
So yes, I'm tough on Microsoft. Is there any wonder why?!

The problems are back!

UPDATE - 2023-11-10
----------------------------------
So a day has passed, and this morning I start things up and everything works? I haven't done anything whatsoever and everything is back in order. The MS365 account is functional and I can access the account information online without issue, the desktop apps are working, no license warnings, like nothing ever happened, databases open fine without errors, ...
Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that things are operational again, but when I say MS365 is unreliable, this is exactly what I'm talking about. I'm just glad I never switched my primary development over to MS365 and have remained with 2013. The stability offered by older versions completely trumps any new features MS has put out in the past 10 years!!! In the specific case of Microsoft Access, there have been basically no advances in the 10 years since 2013's release.
