R.A.F Hurricane & Spitfire ( Restore to Flight Project Part 1)
This video is part of a commissioned project where we have been tasked with re-imagining and animating these iconic aircraft in flight once again. Greg Davis, the owner author and researcher behind these planes, also manages the informative "The Two Seater Spitfire Page" on Facebook. He is dedicated to the mission of restoring these historic aircraft to the skies.
His registered planes include the Hawker Hurricane Z3027 and the Supermarine Spitfire PT989.
The Hawker Hurricane Mk IIb was assigned to 601 Squadron, known as the "Millionaires' Squadron," and flew 122 operations.
The Supermarine Spitfire Mk IX was built in 1943 at Castle Bromwich in Birmingham before being crated and shipped to Russia.
