1.2 Install and setup MSF on Kali Linux
Minimum requirements • Good processer (CPU), 2 GB RAM, 10 GB Hard disk space. – A system with higher resources can run multiple VMs to practice lab on a single system with good performance. We need Attacking system (Kali Linux or Windows) with Metasploit

Preparation - Disable AV, FW
• Kali Linux comes with pre-installed MSF that is recommended for use than installing on your own system. • For trouble free installation disable anti-virus sw and firewalls on your system or exclude the Metasploit directory from the scan. • Have Administrator/root privileges to install MSF.

Start msfconsole
• msfdb run # start the database and run msfconsole OR • msfconsole • service postgresql start • service postgresql status
