We always tell you that Jim and Susan are the only ones that interact with the bears, because they have spent years establishing a relationship with them that no one else could possibly have. However, there is one other person that DID forge a relationship with some of the bears from the time they were very young. And that is Johnathan. Johnathan has worked with Jim and Susan whenever they were traveling with the bears and has done so since they were cubs (for more than 15 years now). He used to have a VERY unique and special relationship with Sonya, and when she was a cub they spent a great deal of time together. Over the years, Sonya didn’t want to travel anymore, and so she stayed home, and she and Johnathan have not interacted with each other for many, many years. Recently Johnathan came to the sanctuary to see her. Would she remember him? Would she still play a game that they had ALWAYS played together when she was little? This five part series of videos will answer that for you (more on their special game in future videos).
