1) Does Google Ads for affiliates still work?
Yes, it still works, but you have to be careful about a number of things (which I will discuss throughout this video).
To make it clear to everyone, the concept is very simple:
Pay Google to have your ads (your website or the producer's website) appear when someone searches for something related to the subject on Google.
2) What is the best Google Ads strategy for affiliates?
The simplest and most efficient strategy is to focus on the bottom of the funnel.
Eugene Schwartz argues that there are five distinct levels of awareness:
Unaware: does not know the product or the problem it solves;
Problem-aware: knows they need to solve a problem, but doesn't know how.
Aware of the solution: knows that courses exist that can help them
Aware of the product: knows that a certain product solves their problem, but isn't sure if it will be truly effective;
More aware: finally, the consumer no longer has doubts. They know they need to buy the course and have already made the decision.
3) 5 main mistakes beginner affiliates make on Google Ads
1 - Not studying the platform
2 - Not using negative keywords
3 - Not separating the money into parts for testing and optimizing ads
4 - Not choosing the correct keywords
5 - Sales pages that don't follow the rules
