How to Use Peak Design Capture Plate With Gimbal, GorrilaPod and Tripod
There are generally two kinds of Arca Swiss tripod adaptor plates on Amazon. The best one took me by surprise. In this video I look at the differences between them in depth so you can make the the best choice.
If you use the Peak Design Capture Clip you'll want to leave the small plate attached to your camera all the time for convenience. This means it's a pain to switch the camera between your tripod, gimbal or GorrillaPod.

The Gimbal I use is the Ronin SC and the so called quick release plate on this gimbal is really large and still requires and awkward thumb screw to add and remove. The arca swiss adaptor plates make it much easier to just connect your camera to your gimbal.
The interesting difference between the two arca swiss adaptors in this video is that the gearing is different between the two screws. This means the one without the quick release lever actually performs better overall.
