We're still waiting for this announcement to begin production HBO's adaptation of The Last Us, but at least we know where filming will take place. After filming a popular first season in Calgary, Alberta, Canada in 2021, CBC News reports that production of the series for season 2 will move west to Vancouver, British Columbia. The move also confirms what we've been told by series developer Craig Mazin and executive producer Neil Druckmann about the second season of the series, which focuses on The Last of Us Part 2. According the Alberta government, some of the second season will continue to be filmed in Alberta, although HBO has confirmed that production has moved Vancouver.
