Dusky Pigmy Rattlesnake
A Dusky Pigmy Rattlesnake (Sistrurus miliarius barbouri), spotted at the Brooker Creek Preserve in Pinellas County, Florida. I was so excited when I saw the chubby patterned snake slithering off the trail and managed to capture it with my camera.
So adorable! Yes, I gasp when its wee little rattle shows up on the camera's screen. It's so tiny and the snake holds it aloft so charmingly. x_x I am a dork.
