South Kitsap Fire & Rescue Facilities Bond
South Kitsap Fire & Rescue has submitted a proposition to the voters for the general election this November 2020. If approved, this Facilities Bond will fund the construction and renovation of the Fire District's facilities, including the Headquarters Public Safety Campus and three new stations. The new stations will be strategically placed close to where the need for emergency services occur.
If approved, the owner of a typical $300,000 home will pay an additional $21 per year. This bond will fund SKF&R's implementation of its Strategic Facilities Plan, and will support the District to achieving enhanced emergency response time throughout South Kitsap, with facilities capable of meeting growing demand for the next 50 years.
