In this video, I break down the real difference between action cameras and 360 cameras, and why a 360 camera might actually be the better default for most people. We’ll talk about framing, missed moments, fisheye misconceptions, reframing, workflow, and when an action camera still makes more sense.
I also compare a traditional action camera (like the Insta360 Ace Pro 2) with a 360 camera (like the Insta360 X4 Air), not to sell you on either one — but to help you understand the strengths of each tool and decide what actually fits how you shoot.
