Fair Oaks House Fire- Arrival

Metro Fire Battalion 13 crews arrived to find heavy fire showing from the front sides of a one story house. Crews made a rapid fire attack, vertically vented the house from the roof, conducted a search for victims, and extinguished the blaze. The fire started in the kitchen, and spread throughout the house and to the garage, also igniting the car in the driveway on fire. The quick actions of the crews onscene kept this fire from spreading to adjacent homes. 1 victim was treated and transported by fire medics. The cause is under investigation.
