Location & Surroundings
Center Parcs Het Heijderbos is located in the Limburg Meuse valley. Here you can make wonderful walks and bike rides while enjoying the beautiful nature that can be found there. At about 35 minutes drive from Center Parcs Het Heijderbos you will find Amusementspark Tivoli (suitable for children from 2 to 12 years).
A visit to Nijmegen is also easy if you have a car at your disposal. The center of Nijmegen is half an hour's drive from Center Parcs Het Heijderbos. In Nijmegen (and the surrounding area) there are a total of nine museums that you can visit as a culture sniffer. You will also find the oldest shopping street in the Netherlands (the Lange Hezelstraat), the oldest house in the city (the Besiendershuis) and a historic town hall.
Nature lovers will have fun in the Hunnerpark (with a view of the flower coat of arms), the Kronenburgerpark and the Valkhofpark. Also nice: take a cruise on the Waal followed by dinner on the pancake boat. There are also two city playgrounds: Leemkuil and Brakkefort, where children can run around and have fun.
