The record for the hardest punch in the world was broken by Eddie this April, but if I told you there was an even more powerful punch, meet the glove-gun. This weapon was developed for the US Navy during World War II, and only about 200 were produced. The mechanism of the weapon was actually quite simple. After the weapon was loaded, a steel pin extended, which acted as a trigger and simultaneously sent a bullet to the target upon impact. Agents issued these gloves were instructed to feign surrender, raise their hands, and, when a person approached them, strike and neutralize them. However, in real life, since it was a rather ridiculous system, the gloves were rarely used, with the exception of the film "Inglourious Basterds."
