My advice to would be YouTubers and Live Event Performers.

If you are presenting a live online event editing and directing in real time while doing a decent presentation is very difficult. My recommendation is to eliminate editing and directing altogether by leaving the video and chromakey on all the time.
The camera should point at the green screen away from the work-space where the presenter does demonstrations. Then when the presenter wants to address the audience they simple stand up and walk over to the green screen, look into the camera and make their point. When finish they walk off screen and sit back down at the desk. Very similar to the way a presenter would do a live in person event standing up occasionally to address the audience.

The key takeaway from this video is "Walk on set, don't edit!"
