Tonido-Personal Cloud for Free-Part-9 of 9-Installing & Using Tonido Sync
In this concluding part of the Tonido series of videos I present to you the Tonido Sync Client. A software that allows you to sync folders and files between several computers at once.
Certain things that I haven't covered in these videos are: (I) Apart from sharing your entire computers folders and drives on the tonido server you can also share the folders of all computers that are in the same network as the server computer. So if computer 1 is hosting the tonido server and there is a computer 2 in your house in the same home network but doesn't have any software of tonido installed, you can access computer 2 from now using the share configuration and then mount folders from computer 2 to show up as a drive in computer 1 and automatically that folder will become visible in the tonido server. (ii) Secondly I didn't touch upon the enterprise solutions which meant for business houses. In this they provide you a software for your computer and mobile devices which syncs files just Box or Drop box apps. Right now the tonido app does not have any sync option. The enterprise solution also allows you to put your companies logo instead of that of Tonido in the sever. But off course this is a paid version of Tonido.
