Product: PMD1XT Digital Indicator
Topic: How to use the PMD1XT Digital Indicator Max Value Hold Function
Once the indicator is powered on we are ready to begin the procedure.
Begin by placing the indicator into the Max Value Hold mode.
This is accomplished by pressing the RIGHT ARROW KEY once (1x)
The blue MAX LED will illuminate, signifying that the indicator is now in the Max Value HOLD mode.
For this example, the monitored process value will increase from 100 degrees to 500 degrees.
Notice that the indicator tracks the process value as it increases to 500 degrees.
As the process value decreases back to 100 degrees, the indicator display retains the max process value of 500 degrees.
The max process value will remain on the indicator’s display until the Max Value memory is cleared.
To clear the Max Value memory, press & hold the UP ARROW key for 3 seconds.
To return the indicator to the normal operating mode, press the RIGHT ARROW KEY once (1x) and the blue MAX LED will extinguish.
