Ingredients:
1 frozen pie crust
7 ounces Chinese Sausage, skins removed and thinly sliced
1 cup kimchi, drained and chopped
3 large eggs
1 cup heavy cream
2 teaspoons soy sauce
7 ounces aged English cheddar, shredded
3 scallions, thinly sliced
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°. Ease frozen pie crust into pie dish. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool while you make the filling.
2. Add sliced sausages to a pan over medium heat and cook for 5 minutes. Add chopped kimchi and sauté for a few minutes. Set aside and allow it to cool.
3. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, and soy sauce.
4. Spread kimchi and sausage over the bottom of the pie crust. Hold back a few slices of sausage for garnish. Scatter cheese evenly over filling, then pour the custard over it. Sprinkle scallions and sausage slices on top. Bake for 35 minutes and set aside for 15 minutes to cool. Enjoy!
