The Washington Foreign Press Center hosts a virtual briefing on the "Procurement of Ukrainian Wheat to Address Acute Food Insecurity" with USAID Deputy Administrator Isobel Coleman and the State Department’s Head of the Office of Sanctions Coordination Ambassador Jim O’Brien to discuss the recent USAID announcement that the United States, through USAID, is providing over $68 million in additional funding to the UN World Food Program (WFP) to purchase, move, and store up to 150,000 metric tons of Ukranian wheat to help respond to the global food crisis.
