Marshmellow X Adobe - Using AFTER EFFECTS To Animate Characters
I made this little character animation for a competition run by Adobe, Marshmellow and Live Nation. In this video I walk you through how I made my entry, teaching some After Effects animation basics.
One of the rules for the competition was that you had to use After Effects and Premiere Pro... so this isn't stop motion, but it is hopefully still interesting and yields value for people that want to dabble in 2D animation or use After Effects as a tool to plan out stop motion first. I've added time stamps below so it is easy for you to jump around to specific parts of the video too :)
The theme for the competition was 'Be Kind' and the winning entries will be part of the official fan video for that song by Marshmellow and Halsey plus other prizes.
