Honest Review and Comparison of Compound Crossbows: ACCELERATOR 410 vs. Man Kung XB58 KRAKEN
Good afternoon!
Today we'll be discussing and comparing crossbows from two competing companies. We'll be comparing the XB58 crossbow from Man Kung.
Man Kung has a much stronger foothold in our market than Poe Lang. This is mainly due to its low price, but will MK be able to compete with a more expensive company, or are the Taiwanese cutting corners?
We'll be performing a zeroing test, with each crossbow firing three sets of six arrows. The final scores were as follows: XB58 crossbow – 236 points | Reaper 410 crossbow – 235 points. It was a close shoot.
Now we'll measure the crossbows' firing speeds. The arms are standard, with a draw weight of 43 kg.
XB58 – 268.
Reaper 410 – 268.
A trigger pull test revealed that the Reaper 410 compound crossbow requires 1,044 grams, while the XB58 crossbow requires 1,338 grams.
Both crossbows have an adjustable stock and an adjustable counter. Both stocks have keys for the broadheads. The Reaper crossbow's lock is mounted in a metal guide, while the Reaper 410 crossbow's lock is mounted in plastic.
Based on this comparison, we can summarize:
Accuracy - XB58
Velocity - EK Accelerator 410
Build Quality - Reaper 410
Trigger - Reaper 410 crossbow
Appearance - Both these crossbows have excellent appearance. Dimensions – XB58
Reloading using the buttstock is humorous; this feature is a manufacturing defect or an oversight on the crossbow being tested. To resolve this issue, you need to adjust the locking bolt inside the telescopic buttstock :)
