🚀This video showcases the implementation of a dynamic MPTCP (Multipath TCP) failover mechanism between Terrestrial Networks (TN) and Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN), developed as part of the 6G-SANDBOX project—advancing the integration of Fixed 5G and NTN technologies.
The solution combines the OpenSAND NTN emulator with a 5G network setup powered by the Amarisoft callbox, deployed within the Athens Testbed. It ensures seamless switching between TN and NTN communication paths, while offering real-time monitoring through a custom web-based user interface.
This implementation is the result of a collaborative effort between INFOLYSiS and NCSR 'Demokritos'.
