A flood of hardcore porn surfaced on mainstream news sites like the Washington Post, New York Magazine and UPROXX on June 22. The porn clips were embedded in news articles of several publishers on the internet. The issue was first spotted by people on Twitter. It now appears that Vidme's domain had lapsed and purchased by a pornography website.
