Takeoff in a MiG-29! Polaris astronaut training.
Taking off in the world’s only civilian-owned MiG-29! Operated by the Polaris Space Program & commander Jared ROOK Isaacman. Polaris uses the MiG & other jets as part of their commercial astronaut flight training. Their next mission, Polaris Dawn, will launch as early as April 2024 from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, FL on a SpaceX Falcon-9 rocket and Dragon capsule. The mission will see Rook and the crew fly higher than any crewed mission in over 50 years, & will see them conduct the first ever commercial spacewalk.
