About 30 minutes into my run on Saturday, my phone began to vibrate non-stop. When I tried unlocking the phone, the screen went dark and it locked itself automatically again. I restarted the phone and the vibrating continued, without stopping. I turned off the phone and the vibrating continued again for another 30-40 minutes and then just stopped, even while the phone was off. I turned on the phone once the vibrating stopped and it seemed to work fine again.
That evening, when I tried to recharge the phone, I noticed that the charger wasn't detected. I turned off the phone to see if that would help and the screen would turn on, show a base charge of 20%, increase to about 50% and then the phone would vibrate once and restart the charging cycle of 20%, go to 50% in a few seconds and then vibrate and the cycle would restart. I left the phone off and plugged in and went to sleep. The next morning, the phone was at 100% and the charger was working fine again.
However, when I tried making a call, I noticed that the microphone wasn't working. I tried many different times Sunday, Monday and today but the microphone doesn't seem to work for calls or to use speech recognition. I am able to use the microphone when on speakerphone during a call or with headphones plugged in with a built-in microphone but not for a normal call.
This is a new phone as my last one was replaced in July for a problem with the battery. I had my phone in an armband while running and it's not possible that it got wet. I was running the application "Runtastic" which allowed me to have vibrating notifications while running. I also recieved a message from WhatsApp which gave me a vibrating notification before the phone began vibrating non-stop.
I'm in the process of uploading a video showing a problem with the microphone and I've taken pictures of all sides of the phone to show you. You can view the pictures via the link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2Tz...
You can also see in the screenshot of the battery graph where the phone had problems just vibrating, even when I turned it off.
