1.📍 World Record Holder: The Most Produced Crawler Tractor in Human History
The DT-75 is officially the most produced crawler tractor in the world. Over the years of production, more than 2,700,000 units have been produced.

No Western brand (not Caterpillar, not John Deere) has been able to create such a sought-after and mass-produced crawler vehicle. The DT-75 broke new ground, built half the cities of the USSR, and fed dozens of countries in the former Soviet bloc. It's the Kalashnikov of tractors.

2.📍 Superpower: "Start at -50°C" (Antarctic Hardening)
The DT-75 is one of the few machines of its time that could operate not only in the field but also in Antarctica. A special modification (the DT-75B "swamp buggy") existed, which was used in polar expeditions.

While modern electronics become bricked at -40°C due to frozen sensors, the DT-75 was started by a simple two-stroke gasoline engine. It could be started even if the battery was completely dead—by hand, by winding a cord around the flywheel. It literally defies the laws of physics and cold.

3.📍 Homemade repairability versus Western "software"
The DT-75 was designed so that any farm mechanic could repair it with a sledgehammer, a crowbar, and some other tools right in the middle of an open field.

Modern farmers in the US are now suing manufacturers (for example, John Deere) for the "right to repair" because their tractors are software-locked in the event of any malfunction. The DT-75 is a symbol of freedom. There's not a single byte of code in it that would prevent you from working. As long as the metal is intact, the tractor will continue to plow.
