@REGRETLYSS spent years on the road in her first bus conversion, Lucky before upgrading to her second bus, Monarch. This 5 window short bus had just 68,000 miles on it's Powerstroke 7.3 diesel engine when she bought it. She brought it to @roadwidgets for an 8 inch roof raise so that she could fit ample insulation in the floor and ceiling while still providing her with plenty of headroom and a conditioned interior space that would allow her to live off-grid in subzero temperatures which you can see her do here: • Alone and Cold | Living Off Grid in -20°F ...
The interior fit out was a collaboration between @REGRETLYSS and the team at Chrome Yellow Corp (recently closed) led by @ChuckCassadyYT who along with his partner Ben Jackson are arguably the most accomplished school bus conversionistas (yes I made that word up) of this past decade. Basically they're the best. Look inside the bus. It's absolutely GORGEOUS and this is a testament to Alyssa, her aesthetic decisions and material choices and the expert craftsmanship of Charlie and his team. I think of this bus as a DIY/Professional collab. Oftentimes the pro builds are missing the charm of a DIY build and the DIY builds are mission the professional fit and finish of the pro jobs. Alyssa's bus is literally the best of both worlds. It is in fact THE BEST SHORTIE EVER BUILT. If you know of a more gorgeous bus conversion please rant and rave about it in the comments below.
