Candidates of inaugural Miss CosmoWorld Philippines pageant introduced to the media
MANILA PHILIPPINES - The 21 official candidates of Miss CosmoWorld Philippines 2023 candidates were introduced to the media during the press presentation held yesterday, September 6, at House Manila at Newport World Resorts, Pasay City.
Aside from the sponsors and guests, in attendance were the members of Cosmic Beauty Inc., the national organization of the said pageant: Meiji Cruz (Chairperson/reigning Miss CosmoWorld), Rodgil Flores (National Director), Joee Guilas (Advisor) and Atty. Adel Reyes (Legal Counsel).
The pageant aims to foster financial literacy and women empowerment by honing the candidates' entrepreneurial spirit.
Wearing swimsuits by Jomar Peralta of House of Victoria, the candidates confidently strut the runway during the press presentation. They also answered the questions from the media during the Q&A segment.

Gezza Ilagan Avila (Quezon Province)
Jasmine Orquico Omay (Carrascal, Surigao del Sur)
Lara Melissa Gaffud (Santiago City, Isabela)
Larsine Grace Orain Jensen (Candijay, Bohol)
Lianne Elizabeth Tabirara Duque (Laguna)
Lienel Pena Navidad (Albay)
Maribelle Castillo Manalili (Zambales)
Mary Josephine Paaske (Cordova, Cebu)
Rian Maclyn Ledesma Dela Cruz (Malolos City, Bulacan)
Roella Frias Solis (Calumpit, Bulacan)
Samantha Dana G. Bug-os (Caluya, Antique)
Sheryl Patalinhog Velez (Mandaluyong City)
Thanamae Rojas Cahilig (Cebu Province)
Valerie Mae Guillermo (Tarlac Province)
Vivian Vargas Hernandez (Quezon City)
Miss Quezon City Vivian Hernadez was chosen by the media as Miss Cosmic Beauty (Darling of the Press). Tied at the second place are Elda Louise Aznar of Davao del Sur and Carmella Joy Fontanilla Cuaresma of Aurora Province.
The winner will represent the country in the Miss CosmoWorld international pageant in Malaysia. She will also receive Php one million cash and precious jewelry crown made by Manny Halasan.
