The right to drink
Most evil in this world stems not from the intention to do evil, but, quite the opposite, from ill-considered attempts to do good. Sadly, but firmly, I must say that people who think they're doing good by fighting addictions—in our country, especially alcohol addiction—do more harm than good. In fact, it's all evil. And the least of these evils is helping an incompetent government cover up its own incompetence; the damage is much greater. And the benefit—none.
