Last year, 2021, Epson, one of the leading companies in the printer market, launched the L3250 model, aimed at home use.
The brand's idea was to offer a cartridge-free printer that meets the needs of those who work from home or even those who are studying at home…
Since I've been working from home for quite some time and occasionally need to print documents, whether it's scripts for my channel, shipping labels, or even PHOTOS, this printer has proven to be VERY good for me!
Some reasons that made me buy this printer:
1. It has practically the highest rating on Amazon, totaling 4.8 stars!
2. It doesn't use cartridges, but an ink tank. (In fact, the product comes with a KIT of ink bottles that LASTS A LONG TIME)
3. In fact, this is the 3rd point: Savings! This ink KIT is equivalent to 35 cartridge kits! It has a very low printing cost; just so you know, I can print up to 4,500 black pages and 7,500 color pages.
Setting up the printer was very easy. I initially chose to do it via CABLE, but you can also do it directly via CELL PHONE, because yes, it works wirelessly! In fact, that's another reason I chose this printer.
However, this model doesn't have the AirPrint feature, which is already part of Apple's system and allows you to print from any device without having to install drivers or apps, for example.
But since I mostly use it for my computer, I'm super satisfied because everything works SMOOTHLY wirelessly from my PC to the printer.
Now, let's talk about the printer's quality!
I'm not an expert on this, nor do I know many other models in depth, but what I can say is that I was very pleased with the quality.
I consider it excellent overall, not only for the quality but also for the economy, since it has some modes that allow you to save even more on printing!
Through the computer, you can choose the vivid draft feature, which is a middle ground between the normal and draft options, allowing the printer to print faster with satisfactory quality.
Speaking of speed, this is a very important point and varies for each operation:
We can print an average of 7 and a half pages per minute, provided the file is sent from a computer!
If done from a cell phone, through the app, this time changes to 3 pages per minute.
Other options, such as printing photos, also significantly change the time. I confess that I didn't get to put photo paper in to test, because that wasn't my final objective, but I did test printing on regular paper.
The result is quite different, as expected, and the printer takes a long time to finish printing.

A super user-friendly app that anyone can use…
Basically, you have the options to print photos and documents; scan; copy;
Having access to Google Classroom documents (which is great for students);
Starting a product cleaning, among other procedures to ensure the printer always works 100%...
Comparing it to a basic wireless compatible printer, there are significant differences:
The average price of this printer is R$400…
However, the cheapest CARTRIDGE costs on average R$40…
So what do we do? We multiply this value by 35. (Which is the equivalent of the ink bottles)
We then have a final value of R$1,400 + R$400 for the printer, totaling R$1,800.
So I ask you, is it worth it?
Of course not… The Epson L3250 model costs on average R$1,200 at the time of publication of this video (April 2022) and proves to be a much more interesting cost-benefit.
I already said that the quality is great and that's TRUE! Another interesting point is that the paper comes out less wet compared to cartridge printers.
It can also print photos, with satisfactory results, but that's not the FOCUS of this specific model!
For that purpose, EPSON has other options that will better suit your needs…
One feature I used recently was scanning; I did this with some documents and saved them as PDFs.
Another great thing about Epson is that the company gives a two-year warranty for the L3250 model when you register the product on their website… In other words, you can rest assured that if there's a problem, Epson should resolve it.
