Merry Christmas to you!
As a child, I so looked forward to these festive days when our family gathered around the table, read the Christmas story, and exchanged gifts. These wonderful moments are still etched in my memory.
Some of our viewers and subscribers celebrate Christmas today, others in two weeks. But no matter when you celebrate, Denise, the church team and I pray that on this day God will give you a special joy and warmth of communication with your family and friends.
When you get together, be sure to read the Christmas story. My parents and I always read it, and I ask you to also read it with your loved ones, children and grandchildren.
Remind yourself that Christmas is not only a day off, a festive table and gifts, but first and foremost, the Birthday of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
This is the greatest miracle in all of history and a wonderful reason to celebrate. Jesus came to earth for you and me!
