Agility is the ability to move quickly and change direction easily. Agility training is essential for athletes participating in sports where you need to change speed and direction quickly, such as football, basketball, and tennis.
However, it's also an important component for non-athletes as well. This type of training increases flexibility, balance, and control so you can maintain proper posture and alignment in your movements. Day-to-day activities such as maintaining balance when walking on uneven surfaces, to mowing the lawn or playing with children are improved when you incorporate agility training into your workout routine.
