While on YouTube, the connection will automatically switch to cellular data if your WiFi network is poor or has a problem. Normally, this is because you've granted the YouTube application to use mobile data in case your WiFi is acting up, or if you've turned your WiFi connection off.
You can change this option from the Settings page on your iPhone or Android device.
To do so.
Go to Settings
Scroll down and Tap on YouTube from the app section
Tap on the toggle icon next to Mobile data to disable it
