CA OPS/MVS: System State Manager User Column Policy
In this video presentation, we'll discuss the new SSMv3 User Column Administration available with CA OPS/MVS Version 13.0
The SSMv3 User Column Administration is a continuation of the development effort toward the System State Manager Simplification and Policy based administration project.
With the initial implementation of this project, only those CA OPS/MVS System State Manager specific columns and column data for SSM Monitored tables were discovered.
With the new User Column Administration functionality in place, the monitored tables with customer or User defined columns and their associated data will be automatically discovered.
For administration ease of use, a new OPSVIEW UI option from the SSM Policy Manager 4.11.P panel is available to access the User Columns Administration panel which is option 4.11.P.UC. Lastly, a new OPSVIEW UI panel has been added to the 4.11.P.R resource editor panels along with an update to the resource summary panel.
