Time-Lapse: LEGO 6085 Black Monarch's Castle
For the longest time this has been my White Whale.
I remember writing the name and model number of this set on a christmas wishlist but unfortunately it was just too expensive back then and I never got it when I was still a kid.
Thankfully I found a seller only a couple of days ago that even had the box so I quickly got in contact with him and got it the next day.
Very happy to finally have this one particular set in my collection after more than 30 years! :)
This is a Time-Lapse video of me building the LEGO 6085 Black Monarch's Castle. One part is very badly damaged, most of the other parts are in excellent condition. All the shields and weapons are there but there was a replacement part used (light blueish grey instead of light grey). Also the strings have been swapped out.
Overall the set is in a remarkably good condition, the box is 6/10 (many scuff marks and scratches but still intact), the manual about 5/10.
I do have to mention, though, that this might have been one of the hardest sets to build. Since this is a large sets it is sometimes hard to see what has changed from one building step to the next and had me doing double and tripe takes throughout the build.
