Audrey Synchronize Clips Final Cut Pro X
Here we look at a fast and easy way to synchronize clips in Final Cut Pro X. In this example we used two cameras to shoot the beautiful and talented Audrey Scherer host of http://hoopingLIVE.com (Mondays at 9pm USA Eastern time). The wide shot was a Sony NEX-7 with the Zeiss 24mm f1.8 lens and the tight shot was the Sony NEX-5 with the 50mm f1.8 lens (both e-mount). For audio we had a Sennheiser EW 100 system plugged into the NEX-7. We would use the same procedure for three cameras and/or multiple audio clips.
In many cases I prefer using this method as opposed to the multi-cam editor in FC Pro X. Tip: The first camera you start will be on the bottom when editing so if you're using the audio from one of the cameras start that one first when recording the clips. This way you will not need to break out the audio like I did in this demo. Saves a step!
