The 10 Most Useless Characters in Star Wars
Jar Jar Binks is the Gungan outcast who somehow stumbled his way from near-death exile on Naboo all the way to a seat in the Galactic Senate, and the terrifying part is that almost none of it was intentional. In The Phantom Menace he's introduced as comic relief, spending most of the film tripping over things, nearly getting himself and the heroes killed, and accidentally contributing to battle victories through pure dumb luck. But his accidental incompetence in Episode I is almost forgivable compared to what he does in Episode II.
