This is the Lightroom Cloud workflow I’ve been using lately to save real time after big shoots. Instead of sitting at the computer waiting on imports, previews, and all the usual slowdown, I move the job into Lightroom Cloud first, let it upload while I’m doing other stuff, and come back the next day ready to edit.
I'm breaking down here why this workflow has been working so well for me, why Lightroom Cloud can feel faster for AI editing, and why I still keep Lightroom Classic in the mix for heavy culling and selection. This is not really a Lightroom Cloud vs Lightroom Classic war. It’s more about using both in a smarter way.
I’m also talking about the card to phone part of the process, because that’s what made this whole workflow practical for me in real life.
If you’re wondering how to make the overnight phone upload actually reliable, with charging, battery settings, sleep settings, and cloud storage math, that’s in the next video.
