Digileted: Censorship in Digimon - Ramencon 2016
At Ramencon 2016, Virtual Pet Pool Party ran multiple panels, and this was our panel on censorship that occurred during the localization of Digimon. We intend to upload more videos on the changes made while localizing Digimon, but they will not be in a panel format.
The purpose of the information is for education. We feel that understanding what changes were made when localizing in the late 90s and early 00s helps portray animation in that time period. We hope this perspective is helpful.
